Payment - eBay has charged both Buyer and Seller for shipping

OP5 months agoeBay deducted shipping charge from Buyers payment and also charged me for shipping. It was paid twice.

Mentor5 months agoThe buyer pays YOU (through Ebay) for the shipping charges and YOU pay to ship the item to the buyer. The shipping charges the buyer paid will be part of your Ebay payout from the sale.

Mentor5 months ago@bhorn99 This is not a mistake. I understand that it can be confusing as we see this questions often from new sellers.
Buyer pays you for the item price and shipping. You use the buyers money to buy the shipping label because you have the item.
If you are subject to fund holds you might have to "front" the money for the label using your back up payment for selling costs or PayPal. Then you wait for the buyers payment for the label in your payout to your checking account with the rest of the proceeds from the sale minus eBay selling fees.
