Payment dispute - unable to upload tracking number
Hi
A buyer has opened a payment dispute. They say their account was hacked and they never authorised the purchase and are looking to get a refund from their bank. I have proof they asked for the sale to go ahead as well as the tracking number.
I can upload screenshots of my conversation with them but the system isn't allowing me to upload a tracking number. When I add it I just received a message saying I need to add a tracking number even though I've added one.
Please can anyone help?
I'm all the more annoyed about this as I reported the buyer as potential scammer to eBay and nothing has been done about it. All I received was an automated message saying it would be looked into and then I've heard nothing since.
This whole experience has been very stressful and has made me think twice about selling on eBay.
Would be grateful for any advice please.
Thank you

Mentor2 years agoHave you tried copying and pasting the tracking number rather than typing it in manually? Or vice versa?

OP2 years agoThank you, I've tried that but am based in the UK and it seems the call back option is only available in the States.
