There is no dispute to file - you agreed to the payment holds when you listed your item for sale. All payments for new or infrequent sellers are held 14 - 30 days or more. Given the value of the item you sold, you should expect your payment to be held for 30 days.

OP9 months agoThe buyer already has the item, yet the payment has not gone through, it says waiting on authentication

Was it shipped to the authenticator? I’m surprised they turned it around so quickly.
Still, your payment is going to be held 30 days, even with authentication.

Mentor9 months ago@cardsondeck23 There is no dispute to file for new seller fund holds. ALL sellers have funds held for at least 30 days when the sale is over $1k
As a fellow seller I understand that waiting for your payout is frustrating.
Fund holds are normal for new and returning sellers.
New or infrequent sellers will experience transaction holds while learning best selling practices. This helps sellers become established and build a strong selling history on eBay. New sellers typically experience holds for up to 30 days, although sometimes it may be longer
