So I recently had a payment sent to a bank account that has been closed. How do I proceed to get my funds? Will they be sent back to eBay?

Does the Payout in your Transactions show "Returned" or "Blocked"?
Have you updated the bank account in your Payments/Wallet to a valid account?

OP9 months agoI have updated my bank account information; however, the payment status does not indicate a return or blockage. The payment was initiated on January 2nd and is currently marked as "processed." I have contacted my previous banking institution, and they were unable to provide definitive information regarding the disposition of the funds. They advised me to contact eBay, which I have done, and I am currently awaiting their response.

Contacting eBay is all you can do right now - hopefully it will be returned and they can process it again to the right account.

OP9 months agoI concur with your assessment. Ultimately, the responsibility for ensuring my information was current rests with me. I am hopeful that within the next few days, the bank will either return the funds or eBay will provide a resolution and transfer them to my updated account. I appreciate your valuable input.
