Paying USPS Postage Shortfalls
I sold some model trains on Ebay. The USPS shipping labels were generated by Ebay for the two separate shipments. I downloaded the labels then attached them to the packages. The USPS postage for both labels/shipments were under paid according to USPS. If Ebay can’t get the shipping labels correct why does Ebay bother generating them? I have to make up the difference. The process is a pain in the butt. Secondly, shipping has become so expensive on some items I decided I will donate the items to the Goodwill. Example: I sold a Lionel trains set for $300. The shipping cost was $98! After Ebay takes their 14% cut off the top it is no longer worth my time.
