Paying shipping for a replacement
Seller sent me bad duck eggs. She said she'd replace them but asked me to pay shipping. Is this the right thing to do?

No. Tell the seller no thank you, and that you will open a return request to send back the bad eggs. The seller will have to pay the return shipping.
Go to your purchase history - select return this item. Under reasons select does not match the description, and follow the prompts. Describe the problem in the comments.
The seller has 3 business days to send you a return label or a refund. If he doesn't, or says he cannot send a label, go to your case and click 'ask us to step in'.

OP4 months agoThank you for your reply. The seller doesn't accept returns but asked me to pay shipping for a new set of eggs. The seller did not pack the eggs properly and did not put fragile on the box so of course 4 were dead and rotten. Not to mention that the shipping took forever. The other eggs that came are either infertile or got shaken around so much they are not viable. I agreed to pay shipping for new eggs and said I'd pay for expedited if she would mail them right away. She asked if I could place an order for some other eggs and the shipping would come out of that order and she's refund the eggs portion immediately. I did that and no response for two days until I cancelled that order. So, by this time I am out money for two orders and no eggs. When I complained to her about this, she said "deep breath" and said she was waiting until the weekend passed to ship the eggs. She cancelled the order that I didn't need in the first place.At this point I had enough and asked her to just refund the ten bucks for the eggs on my first order. Now she wants pictures. Mind you I threw away the rotten eggs. I also noticed that someone left her a bad review. Said all the eggs arrived busted. Well today, that review has been reversed. I was trying to give this place a chance because she's just starting but this is ridiculous. Just refund my order at this point.

The seller’s return policy does not apply when an item is not as described. They have 2 choices - accept the return or issue a full refund without return. But - you do need photos for the return request. So in the future do not toss the item - some sellers would actually waste the money to have you return the bad eggs, broken china, etc..
You could try asking customer service for assistance - they may decide that you should be refunded without return.
