Paying IVA (VAT) to eBay when I purchased the item and paying it again upon importation.
Hello, I purchased an item originating in Ukraine. eBay generated an invoice that showed the purchase price, the shipping costs and IVA or VAT. The item shipped from the USA and I had to pay IVA-VAT all over again, so I paid it twice. The seller says he didn't charge the IVA (VAT) that eBay did. But it is impossible to contact an actual person at eBay to deal with this. All they offer is the endless loop of (AS) Artificial Stupidity that does nothing and forces you to give up. How do you contact a human being at eBay...is it even possible?
