Pay now issues. Won't allow pay

Question

When seller accepted my offer I then try to hit pay now. It takes me to the item that now shows out of stock and doesn't allow me to complete purchase. What gives? Did seller change their minds and screw me on the purchase?

Check your Purchase History to see if the transaction appears there as "already paid" or "awaiting payment".

If the seller requires a payment method to make an offer, your payment method may have already been charged.

It is also possible that someone else purchased the item before you were able to complete checkout.
