Past 60 days buyer wants full refund
I sold a digital item to another reseller. Delivered January 25th, March 25 requesting a return and full refund stating he just recently opened the package to use the item and it made a horrible noise and he said the belt was broken. I offered him a 50% refund of his total amount and keep the item to save him the trouble of a return. I didn’t want it back if it broke after him using it.. for 2 months. If it had been a return within 30 days no problem, but 60 days? I thought I was being more than fair since I didn’t have to refund him anything. Have any of you had this situation? What would you do? I tried getting in touch via phone with ebay on how to handle this and it will not pass me to a teammate. I’m frustrated.

Ebay allows buyers to file Return Requests for only 30 days past date of delivery. So this is no longer an Ebay related issue.
Has the buyer filed a dispute through Paypal or their bank/credit card company?
