Password manager changed my ebay password but didn't save it
Password manager changed my ebay password but didn't save it! Now I cannot reset it. Is this, "Goodbye Ebay"?
I got a suspicious looking email, so I went to login using the pw manager, the pw manager unlocked the ebay page then another page popped up saying "page not available now" Then, I tried again and the ebay page opened, I went right into security settings, typed my old pw in, my pw manager created a new 16 digit alphanumeric with special characters pw, I tried to save the new pw manager created pw to the vault, but it didn't save there, however it was changed on the Ebay sign in page and now I have NO WAY of figuring out what my password is. When I try now to change my password to one I can remember, Ebay prompts me to enter my password, which now I have no idea of what that is. What can be done???

Mentor3 years agoMake sure you are actually on eBay and not using a link from an email that leads to a fake page on another site.
