Password change
Just curious who's the super genius that came up with entering your old password to change your password when you don't remember it. I can't change mine b/c I apparently don't remember my old one.

Mentor3 years agoRequiring the old password prevents someone who gets momentary access to your computer from immediately taking over your account by changing your password if they do not know the old one.
If you do not know your password, use the "reset" option rather than the "change" option. That will require responding to an email to prevent just anyone from resetting your password.
