Parts return

Question

I have 2 auto parts purchases I want to return because they don’t fit. I originally purchased them and had them delivered to my mechanic in NJ, I live in Minnesota.

The returns have been approved but I can’t return them until I arrive in NJ on 4/28. eBay says I need to return them by

4/29, that’s cutting it too close, what can I do. Can I cancel the returns for now and restart the returns when I get to NJ on 4/28? I should have 30 days from that point

Once you close a return it cannot be reopened. However, when eBay says you must return by a certain date they are looking for tracking that shows you shipped the items by that time not that the items were delivered to the seller by that date (although the seller would probably like this).
