Partial Refund Too Low
I ordered an item of $246 (total with shipping and tax) and issued a refund/return to the seller because the item listed was falsely described and did not match the listing at all. After telling me he won’t refund shipping costs and only the purchase price, I told him he’s has to, and now he’s offered me a $5 refund offer, which I find too low. If I wait my 3 days for eBay to step in, I have to wait ‘til March 1st. Can anyone help me on what to do or how to handle this? I have not responded to the refund offer, and honestly not even sure what happens if I decline. Help please

What day did you file the Return Request?
3 days after you filed the return request, you can ask Ebay to step in. You do not have to wait until Mar. 1st.

OP3 years agoI’ve clicked on the link you’ve sent me and even gone to one of the links that asks ebay to step in, but it says my action required is because he sent me a $5 partial refund. Do I have to decline his offer in order to ask eBay to step in? Or how can I go about this?

At this point, I think it best for you to contact Ebay.
