Partial refund on defective item
Ordered item that seller stated would fit my application but it turns out that it won't fit. Seller offered partial refund even though his advertising was not correct. Shouldn't I get a full refund.

Mentor5 months agoAlthough a seller can offer a partial refund if they want since the item does not fit your application you should expect a full refund.
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to open an “item not as described case”. This overrides the sellers return policy. Go to your Purchase History and find the item. Then under “More actions” click on “Return item” and then select the reason for the return as “doesn't match description". It may ask you to attach a photo so the seller and eBay can see what was received. The seller will need to send you a prepaid return label and once the item is returned they have three days to refund you. After this time has passed you would have to go to your payment source to see what help they can give.

Mentor5 months ago@r_vedell. Did you file a return request yet?
If yes what reason did you choose?
Doesn't fit? Doesn't Match photos and description?
You should get a full refund but if you used Doesn't fit then eBay considers that a remorse return.
