Partial refund for eBay motors parts

I received a head gasket and bolt kit for a 2013 Honda pilot. The head gaskets were correct but the bolts were not. I have used the gaskets before I noticed the bolts were incompatible. The part number on the bolt bag was correct but the bolts were not. I have requested a partial refund and offered to send the bolts back but the seller said it’s my mistake for not making sure all of the parts would fit before ordering. Being th part number is correct there is no way for me to know the bolts inside the package would be wrong. Please advise

Mentor1 week ago@bheitz69 eBay can not make the seller issue a partial refund. They can only make the seller pay return shipping and refund you 100% if you file a return request within 30 days of delivery and return ALL of the parts. I know that returning the gaskets is not feasible since you already used them.

OP1 week agoSo my only option is to give negative feedback and low stars? I wouldn’t be mad but the seller refuses to help and claimed I made the mistake when ordering.
