Partial refund?
A buyer wants to pick up the order rather than having it shipped now so they requested an order cancellation. Understandable and completely fine but, eBay is charging me the selling fees to cancel the order. Is there any way I can do this without having to pay the selling fees twice?

There are three reasons eBay provides for cancelling an item that has been paid for.
-Buyer requested the cancellation
-Problem with address
-Out of stock
The first two should have your FVFs credited to you.

Mentor2 weeks agoFile a Cancellation with Problem with buyer's address or Buyer requested. That will refund the buyer in full and you are credited with the FVF. Then relist the item with LOCAL PICKUP, send the buyer the new item number. Buyer purchases, pays, and receives a QR code (as well as a numeric code) to show you up pickup or delivery. That will confirm that the item has been delivered to the buyer since you will not be shipping.
