Partial refund
There is a case open by the buyer and eBay to fully refund $200, but I only received $170 as a seller. Is there any request I can make to get the remaining $30 ( tax- fee- shipping ) since the order is missing due to the shipping company?

Mentor4 months agoWhen you freely refund the buyer for a missing package, ebay will credit you back the FVF that was charged, and will send the sales tax separately to the buyer. You need to go to the carrier and file an insurance claim for a missing package.

OP4 months agoI submitted the claim, and they offered me only $100. I have to wait 8 days to receive the money. My question is whether the $30 (for tax, fees, and shipping) will be refunded automatically by ebay, or do I need to make a separate request? If I need to request it, could you please guide me on how to do that? i don't have paypal
