Partial Refund
I bought an antique, gild mirror on ebay and it was delivered today (7/6/24) and it was not packaged well. It was chipped in a significant place in the front and several flea bites around the edges. I contacted the seller and she offered me $2.64 refund to buy touch up paint. I obviously cannot buy paint for that. I looked it up and Hobby Lobby has gild paint for $5.99. I told her I would appreciate the refund being $5.99 so I could buy the paint, and she refused. I want ebay to step in and help me. This is crazy

eBay can not force the seller to offer a partial refund, but they can force her to accept. Return and issue a full refund as well as pay for return shipping. She might then consider upping the partial refund offer.
Go to your purchase history - select return this item. Under reasons select does not match the description, and follow the prompts.
The seller has 3 business days to send you a return label or a refund. If she doesn't, or says she can not send a label, go to your case and click 'ask us to step in'.
