Paid overpriced shipping label via ebay
Hello, I made a sale and purchased a shipping label thru ebay in which it was USPS Priority. When I arrived at post office they scanned my QR code for label and printed it off. Then I noticed it was an $85 charge for shipping and said weight of item was 25lbs in which actual item was only 1lb 10oz. How do I get a refund for the weight difference. Post office gave me a quote and said it should have cost me $18 not $85. Someone please help!

Mentor2 years agoIf you entered the wrong weight/dimensions or label type, purchased the label, and then used it, you have a problem. You should have voided the label (QR) and created a new one. Now that you had it scanned and shipped there is no way to get a refund from ebay. However, if this was caught at the post office or when later scanned, USPS will refund the difference to your account.
I'd go back and check your shipping record to see what happened.
