Paid for item thatvwas bever shipped. Seller will not reply to messages

Question

I had made a purchase in August 27th 2024. The item was a pre-order and would not be available until 2025. I messaged the seller 3 times between September 2025 and today and they refuse to reply. I found a different seller with the same item so I need a refund from the original seller. The order number is 15-11991-35984. The total price paid was $367.38

eBay has rules about pre-sale orders.

Presale listings must guarantee that the item will be shipped within 40 business days of purchase
The date the item will be available to ship must be clearly stated in the listing

I wish you had known about this rule before you purchased something that wasn't expected for that long.

eBay can no longer help you. It's just been too long. Even your credit cards or Paypal will not generally be of any help after this long.

I'm sorry that this happened, but you have to be careful about paying ahead of time with expectations that it will be months for an item to be delivered
