If you have already shipped using the incorrect label there are a few things that may happen.
-The carrier could send it on the the buyer and charge you a shipping adjustment. You will receive a notice and your eBay account will be charged the additional amount.
-The carrier could require the buyer to pay postage due upon delivery. If that happens the buyer can pay the amount and then message you. You would need to refund them for the amount through the order. They can also refuse the package and when it gets back to you you will need to refund them in full.
-The carrier could send the package back to you for insufficient postage. You would then need to contact the buyer to let them know what happened and if they want you to resend it or cancel the order.
If you have not already shipped the item you can void the incorrect label and then go back to the order and in the drop down menu is the option to get another label. Be sure to change the package details.
Go to your shipping labels page and find the unused label. In the drop down actions menu is the option to void the label. You have 28 days to void USPS, UPS, and FedEx labels. eBay Standard Envelope labels are non-voidable once they have been printed. If it was a USPS label it will take up to 21 days for them to verify it was not used and send your refund. More details on the page below.
