Package shipping dimensions changes after saving
When selling an item, why do the dimension measurements change that I place in the shipping section after I save and list the item? I am not putting in any measurement that should cause that. For example, I placed 7.0 L X 4.0 H X 4.0 W in to shipping dimensions for USPS Ground Advantage and I sold an item where I noticed the shipping amount did not reflect the correct amount for the size and weight of the item to where it was being shipped. When I looked at the shipping information the dimensions had changed to 8.0 X 4.0 X 1.0. I then looked at a couple other items I listed and I they were also showing that the dimensions had changed. I corrected those and a couple of them saved the information and two did not save the sizes I placed in there.
I'm choosing this shipping option to give buyers a break on shipping costs who may live closer to me, but I don't want to be stuck having to pay more to ship an item when the sizes change to a different size and the seller pays less for shipping.
Any help would be appreciated.
