Package Returned to me the Seller. What is the sequence for Cancelling, Refunding Buyer, Re-listing?
Buyer's incorrect address was on the eBay label and package was Returned to Sender (me). So here's a dumb question -- Is there any specific sequence that the following must be done? :
-Contact Buyer
-Send Refund
-Mark Item as Not Shipped
-Cancel Order
-Re-list (giving buyer the opportunity to buy again with his correct address).
I don't want to get it wrong. Thanks.

Mentor2 years agoEach seller handles returns due to buyer's wrong address differently. I would use the CONTACT BUYER and let him/her know that the packages was returned because of a wrong address. Buyers need to keep their SHIP TO address up to date. Let the buyer know if s/he still wants the item, you will need a current address and XX to reship the item. Give your Paypal email address and the buyer can send the money and address to you there. Use Paypal to print the shipping label.
If the buyer no longer wants the item, you can go to your Seller Hub > Orders > Paid & shipped, locate the item, click Cancel order, select a reason, submit. Buyer's funding source will be credited.
