Package delivered but buyer said delivery man stole package.
Package was delivered today. Buyer said the deliveryman (USPS) stole the package. I think this could be a scam although the buyer has a positive buying record. They want me to call USPS and report the theft because they don’t speak English. Don’t think it’s my problem. I don’t even want to answer seller because it might be a scam.
Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you. I do plan to have a phone conversation with EBAY customer service tomorrow.

If the buyer has evidence of a postal worker stealing the package then they need to go to their local Post Office and show that to them.
They say it's their third visit to the Post Office then they say they can't find the Post Office in another message??
I normally say respond to messages but personally I'd ignore this persons messages and add them to my blocked bidder list.
There's no need to call customer service over this because you win the case when tracking shows delivery that is ebay policy. eBay customer service might try to interpret things differently but they would be incorrect.

I think you need to gently explain to the buyer that problems with mail delivery must be reported locally - it is not something you can do for them. Tell him that he must go to his post office and speak with his post master - if he is not comfortable speaking English, then he needs to get a friend or family member to go with him who can translate for him.
It is always possible that his packages were delivered to the wrong house. Tell him that he should take the tracking #s with him when he goes to his PO and ask the clerk to look up the deliveries. The scanners have gps, so they can see exactly where they were delivered.
You are not responsible for mis-delivered packages. If the buyer opens a not received claim, enter the tracking # that shows delivery into the claim and it will close in your favor.
