package being returned due to an unknown address
Hello,
I sent out a package. it shipped to the correct post office. when they tried to deliver the post office listed it as unknown address in the tracking. I contacted the buyer and they said they went to the post office but the package is being returned to me the seller. what are my obligations as a seller.
Do I refund the entire order or
Do I refund the buyer the cost of goods and they pay for the shipping?
I have not had this experience before. I am looking for some advice from a seller.
Thank you

If the buyer is asking for a refund and you are worried they might leave you a negative, then go with OPTION #1
You can deduct shipping expense but that is entirely up to you. Either way you should communicate to your buyer on which direction you will take to resolve this matter.
