Owner Shipping Charged Twice
I sold an item for $147.xx, to which the customer requested a shipping option costing $98.xx. I, of course, can not make money using that option and chose a more reasonable shipping charge, which is how the item was shipped. I noticed that my account shows a $5.xx debit, which, after review, revealed I was charged twice to ship the same item. The order confirms that the $98.xx shipping option hasn't been used and that the item has arrived at its destination. I don't have access to eBay to notify them of this discrepancy, and I am not Santa Claus. Need help!

It sounds like you bought 2 labels.
Here's how to cancel (or void) an unused shipping label you purchased on eBay:
- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/labels/my-ebay
- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.
- Choose your reason for canceling the label.
- Select Cancel shipping label.
You have 28 days to cancel a label. The refund will come about 21 days after you cancel.

If you shipped using a non eBay label, you will need to add that tracking to the order.
- Go to the Sold section of My eBay. https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold
- From More actions, select Add tracking number.
- Add, edit or delete the tracking number and the carrier.
- Select Submit.

OP5 months agoThe option you describe is not available. It could be because the item has arrived at its destination. The only option is the three dots ... next to leave feedback, which gives me the option to "cancel order". Of course, this assumes something other than my intention. It also provides information not relevant to the shipping label.

Don't cancel the order, that will refund the buyer.
If you were charged twice for shipping, it would be because you bought 2 labels.
Do you see 2 labels for the same item here? Do you see the $98 label?

Has it been longer than 28 days?
Was the label scanned at the Post Office?
You should see these choices
