overweight issues on shipping labels with Fedex home delivery
I had a 2 pound package, which weighed just under 2 pounds on my scale, charged an extra fee for weighing 2.1 pounds by fed ex. Does anyone know who weights these? Is it the drop off location, like Fedex office, or does it happen on route to the destination? How do I get that accurate on small items?

Mentor10 months agoFedEx weighs packages more than once and is notorious for incorrect automatic weighs and dimensions scans. You can contest the charge, but since it went through ebay it is a pain to do. Always best to use your own FedEx account or better yet use UPS with either your own account or a free PirateShip account.
