Overseas transaction w/o payment
I sold an item to a buyer in Japan and this is what happened. After paying for the item, I shipped it to the address given. A few days in, the buyer emailed me stating the address to the shipping (7) company was incorrect. I was notified by the postal service that the item was undeliverable to the provided address. At this point I made the mistake of refunding the buyer his money. Long story short, the item was delivered to the buyer who now says he’s already paid eBay! There was good communication with this buyer until that point. Now I’m getting nothing but crickets.

·1 year agoSorry, but if you voluntarily sent a refund, eBay cannot help you. If the buyer is willing, they could repay you via another payment service like PayPal, but they are not required to.
