overcharged for shippping
It looks like my buyer paid the shipping, but ebay prompted me to pay for the mailing label so I did. Then, when I got my money, ebay took the shipping out of my cost as if the buyer hadn't already paid it.

The shipping paid by the buyer is included in the buyer’s payment to you - the buyer pays you, you buy the label. eBay deducts their fees from the buyer’s payment, so depending on the value it can look like the shipping is not included.
Go to your payment account - https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin - click on the payment to see the buyer’s payment net of fees, and the deduction for the shipping label. Click on the buyer’s payment to see what the buyer paid and the fees deducted by eBay.
