Overcharged buyer shipping.
Sold a heavy computer/server. Weighed about 40 lbs after boxing it up, but I guessed it would weigh 50 with packing and that was what the buyer was charged for. It always seems like you make a little on shipping, and I typically just use the prepaid label. Ebay charged $200 for shipping, which I thought was high, so I shipped it myself. Shipping was only $80, not including double boxing and packaging. Seller wants me to refund all the shipping difference( actual $80 price on shipping label) minus $20 for my time. Ebay fees were around $35, item sold for $40. Just trying to figure out a fair way to handle this and how to do it safely. Any suggestions are helpful. Thanks.

1) Go to your Sold order here: https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold
2) Select "Send Refund" from the drop-down list to the right.
3) You will be able to select the exact amount of the refund to send.
4) Confirm the refund
I'd send $100, eBay will adjust your fees as a part of this process.
