Over charged for shipping?
I ordered an item from a seller and was told shipping was going to be $16.67. When I received the item the printed shipping cost on the recipt provided was only $4.99 how can I get the difference back.

Mentor11 months agoThe shipping stated is usually shown before bidding or purchase. The seller is not required to refund you the shipping charges.
You can ask the seller, but they are not required to refund you.
If you do not accept or agree to the shipping charges shown in the listing, it is best to look for a different item/seller.
The bottom line is that you agreed to the charges when you purchased the item so there is nothing to refund.

OP11 months agoMy issue is not with the shipping price that was listed when I purchased the item. The item i purchased was $49.99 and Shipping was $16.67 for a total of $66.66
Upon receiving the item there was an included Packaging Slip (bill of sale) that stated the price was $49.99 and the Shipping cost was $4.99 for a sale total of $54.99

Mentor11 months agoWhat does the actual listing say when you view the listing? The shipping charges are shown up front and cannot be changed after the listing has ended or after you purchased the item.

Mentor11 months agoWere you charged any import fees, tariffs or taxes to have the item shipped to you? Your ID says you are located in Canada. Was the seller in the US?

OP11 months agoYes im in Canada and the seller was in the US and yes I was also charged import taxes and fees of approx $21cad
