Out of town, can’t ship
Had to leave and forgot to stop selling.
Had an item get purchased yesterday. Sent a msg to buyer ASAP but 12 hrs later no reply. Should I just refund them?

Twelve hours is not enough time to wait for a reply (especially as that was overnight). If you don't hear from the buyer by tomorrow, you could send a follow-up message tomorrow to let him know that you must cancel the sale as you can't ship, but if he still wants the item, you will relist when you return so that he can repurchase it.
(You'll have to use the out-of-stock reason for the cancellation.)
