How is it that a buyer can leave you negative feedback if they purchased an item from a seller that ends up being out of stock?
I sell on several sites and the bag they purchased was on sale on the other sites as well and sold.
Why does ebay allow a seller to cancel a sell with the option of out of stock or damaged if it can lead to negative feedback? I requested ebay to please remove it as it ruined 8 years of 100% feedback and they denied it stating the reason was, the buyer didnt ask to cancel.
How are you suposed to handle this type of situation?

Mentor10 months agoSorry, but if you have only one of an item, you are not suppose to list it in multiple places. This only leads to unhappy buyers and bad feedback. When you list on ebay, you are suppose to have enough in stock to support the quantity listed. Otherwise besides possible bad feedback you also get a strike on your account and may still have to pay ebay fees based on the winning bid.
