Original payment card replaced

Question

I'm trying to get a refund which the Seller has agreed to. Only problem is I had to replace the original payment card due to fraud. The software doesn't have an answer for this.

That’s a good question and it comes up more often than you’d think.

The refund will still be sent back to the original payment method, even if the card was replaced. In most cases, the bank links the new card to the old one and the funds will still reach your account.

If for some reason it doesn’t go through, the bank will usually redirect it or help locate the funds.

If you want peace of mind, you can also contact your bank and let them know a refund is coming.
