Ordered/charged by Ebay for an item that hasn't arrived, and Ebay doesn't show it as a purchase

Question

Ordered an item off Ebay, store name Shamrockgift, and was charged on Amex for it. I searched Ebay and it doesn't even show up as a purchase, but my Amex was charged the amount.

I reached out to the seller who told me to contact Ebay. There's no FAQ for this and no contact number to speak with a human at Ebay. Other than disputing the charge through Amex, I'm not sure what to do.

Any ideas?

First step would be to double check your Purchase History:

https://www.ebay.com/mye/myebay/purchase

If it does not appear in your Purchase History, perhaps you purchased the item as a guest or with a different Ebay account.

You should have received an Order Confirmation email from Ebay when you purchased the item.
