Ordered wrong size and sent the wrong item back
I ordered a pair of Rothys shoes which I thought were size 8 but when I get the notice these were on the way it said they were size 10. So I ordered a size 8 and was going to return the size 10. I contacted the seller on the size 10 and she said OK to return. So when I received a pair of Rothys on a Monday I thought they were the 10's . So I put the return shipping label on box and sent them back. On Tuesday the size 10 shoes arrived and then I realized I made a mistake and sent the size 8, which actually arrived on Monday, not the size 10's. I immediately contacted the seller for the size 10's and told her of my mistake. After speaking with the post office, they said to tell her to refuse the package, and it would get sent back to me. I also said I would keep the 10's so she didn't have is issue to me a refund. I know the package with the size 8's were delivered to her and I have asked her 2x now if she has been able to get this re directed back to me. I have not heard from her. At this point I am out the purchase of 2 pair of shoes and I would like the size 8 back so I can wear them. I will try to sell the size 10's. What should I do. I have tried to contact a live person at EBAY to see if I or they can do anything, but you cannot get a live person which is so frustrating.

-Wow, that is quite the transaction.
-Your first mistake which you acknowledged is you ordered the wrong size shoes
-The second mistake was you did not inspect the items in the first package you received
-The Seller graciously agreed to accept a return and you got a label for that, pre-paid I assume
-USPS gave you bad advice by advising you to tell the Seller to refuse the return package. If memory serves, if they refused the return that was processed through eBay they could be forced to refund you ... for your mistake(s).
-The Seller is under no obligation to pay for another shipping label out of their own pocket to return the correct shoes which you mistakenly returned to them.
You can certainly try getting in contact with eBay but at the end of the day they may not be able to assist you. Maybe they will grant you a one time courtesy refund, not sure but I know that has happened before.
