Ordered too many platinum and gold stuff
I have ordered too many jewelry from Chinese dealer through eBay and now worried that it might not be genuine. In past I ordered few rings from Chinese dealer which was stamped 14 k and 18 k of gold but was fake so now I am really worried about the items .

Mentor1 year ago@sfir1282 It is risky ordering jewelry or brand name items from certain countries.
You are protected by the eBay Money Back Guarantee. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to file the return request.
Here's what you need to do:
You should open a Return Request. The reason could be "Item is defective", "Arrived damaged", "Missing Parts" OR "Doesn't Match photos and description" if the item you got was not what was shown and described.
Select the return item button on this page:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041&st=
4 business days after filing the return request if the seller has not issued a full refund or sent the money to your PayPal account to pay return shipping then ask eBay to step in and help: https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/ask-ebay-to-step-in?id=4701
The seller will not be able to provide a valid return label since they are located in another country. If the seller shipped from the US they are not allowed to require a return to another country even for buyers remorse returns.
The seller then has the choice of sending you the money to pay return shipping to your PayPal account OR refunding you without a return of the item. Do NOT pay return shipping yourself and expect to be refunded for it after the item is returned even if an agent says to do this as eBay can not force a refund from the seller for more than the original sale price.
eBay may place the case on hold for 5 days if the seller chooses the PayPal option.
99% of the time a seller in another country will refund without a return of the item once you involve customer service.
Here's how to contact eBay general customer service:

If you do have to buy a return label with the funds the seller provided then you must enter the tracking number into the return request so you will have proof of the return.
Adding tracking to your return
Adding tracking details to your return helps protect against delays or issues in the refund process. If you use an eBay returns label, tracking details are automatically uploaded.
Here's how to add the tracking information to your return if you're using your own return shipping label:
Go to the return request in Purchase History.
Select the shipping carrier from the dropdown list. If you select Other, enter the carrier name.
Enter the tracking number.
Select Mark as sent.
