Ordered and paid for pictured item. Received cheap product unlike picture.
I ordered a Rescuer Advent Nativity Set pictured as made of high quality wood with artfully painted wooden figures in small wooden drawers. What I received in not at all what was pictured, and is not what I ordered. The set I received is made of cheap wood, is poorly constructed, has drawers made of card stock, and the figures in the drawers are made of plastic. The outside of the drawers were smeared with dried glue. This is a dishonest seller. Any seller with integrity would not have sent such a messed up product. I contacted the seller and asked for a full refund. Responses from the seller have been a series of manipulative bargaining tactics offering $10 for no return of the set, then $20 with return of the set. I refuse to return the set, as I didn't ask for it in the first place. The seller owes me a full refund. This seller is deliberately deceiving buyers and needs to be stopped. I would like to be in communication with eBay but haven't found a direct way to talk with them about a dishonest seller.

Mentor9 months agoYou have 30 days from the date of delivery to open an “item not as described caseâ€. This overrides the sellers return policy. Go to your Purchase History and find the item. Then under “More actions†click on “Return item†and then select the reason for the return as “doesn't match description". It may ask you to attach a photo so the seller and eBay can see what was received. After this time has passed you would have to go to your payment source to see what help they can give. It is the sellers option of requiring the return of the item. If they want this you will receive a prepaid label to return the item and the full refund will be made once the item is returned.
