Ordered 8 containers with lids seller changes ad to 6 container's instead...

Question

I ordered "8 containers"with lids from a seller once it started tracking I saw it had been switched & the ad now is saying "6 containers"....I'm calling Ebay to get this resolved or PayPal...this is a mess and crooked behavior...why are sellers engaging in this behavior...smh!@

Sellers cannot make any changes once the item has sold. Go to your Purchase history and read the item description for the listing that was purchased. If the seller has a multi-quantity listing, any changes would pertain to the date after the revision.
