Does it seem misleading to order a part specific to a peticular car model, only to find out it is cut to fit, although it is not mentioned on the add? Example - door panel incerts. No mention of cut to fit...

Yes, that would be misleading. If a part needs trimming or modification, the listing should say so. When a specific model is mentioned, buyers expect a direct fit.
