eBay can only help if the unauthorized transaction was made using your own eBay account.
If the transaction only appears on a credit card statement, contact your card issuer for details of the transaction or to dispute it and get a new card number issued.

OP1 year agoThis was ordered from my eBay account and using my credit card that is on file there. I have changed my password and eBay told me to ask the seller to cancel the order ( I did all this within 1.5 hours) and so far not a peep out of the seller. When I did some research on the seller there is negative feedback during the last month stating that exactly the same thing happened from this seller with someone else.

Mentor1 year agoSellers are not informed about how you paid so they do not have your card number. Sellers also cannot purchase items on another users account so it is not possible for them to make any purchase and charge it to you no matter what the feedback may have said. Just have your bank file a charge back to get your money back.

Check all your account details closely for changes you did not make to your contact information or your shipping address.
