Order number not shown in purchases
I placed an order for an item and received a notification from eBay with an order number and item number.
The order has not arrived and when I try to find it in my purchase history there's no record of the purchase.
How can I speak to a living person in eBay to try and get some resolution for this matter?

Mentor2 years ago@grumpy1david Is it possible that you or someone in your household made the purchase as a guest?
If you made the purchase using a guest account it will not be in your purchase history.
Log out of your eBay account and request the guest account details from this page:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/returning-item/returning-items-bought-guest?id=4065&st=
Then you can start a refund request, track your order, or contact the seller, from the guest account email. Do not log in to your regular eBay account.

eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.

If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media
3. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a PRIVATE message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible.
