Order not found. Unfortunately there has been an error retrieving your order.

Question

I ordered a item from eBay and it was delivered. I'm trying to return item but when I go to locate order I'm receiving this error message: "Order not found Unfortunately there has been an error retrieving your order."

I tried to contact ebay customer representative but I can't seem to reach a person and the automated system is no help. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Is it possible you purchased that item using a different eBay account? Or as a guest?

Guest orders are not connected to your eBay account; for help with a guest order you must first sign out of your existing eBay account and then use the "order details" link in the email that you received from eBay regarding the guest order, or else right click on the link and choose to open the link in a private or incognito browser window.
