Order hasn't been shipped after 5 days
I need some help. I placed an order on sunday, March 31st. It's been 5 days and they still haven't shipped. The order has been paid for. Tried messaging the seller and I haven't gotten a response. They haven't actually sold anything before and have one other listing. What should I do?

OP2 years agoI suppose that's true. It's just that the estimated delivery date was between today and monday, and I'm getting worried that they haven't shipped yet, mostle because the seller hadn't sold anything before, and has no reviews, even as a buyer, so I'm worried about it being a scam. I know ebay has the mbg, but I still wish there's something I could do.

There is nothing you can do at this point, so I would recommend that you focus on having a nice weekend, and then take action to get your refund after Monday if you don't receive your item.
(Note: New sellers often don't ship with eBay labels because they don't have the shipping knowledge they need or ability to weigh the item, so they go to the carrier and buy postage there. They also often don't know to list the tracking # after doing so.)

There is no way for you to know if the seller has shipped or not if he didn't upload tracking and get an acceptance scan when he shipped the item.
Additionally, so sellers have longer handling times than others. Five days may be within his handling time.
Here's what to do...
When it's past the estimated delivery date shown in your Purchase History, you have up to 30 days to use the option next to the transaction to open a case for an item not received. The seller will have 3 business days to prove delivery or refund. If he doesn't, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. They will force the refund.
