order cancelled by eBay
hi I made a sale and a couple days after the sale eBay sent me an email and said the buyer had deleted their eBay account and for me not to send them the item that eBay was going to cancel the sale and send their money back. as of today it says I have till the 29th to ship the item out and the payout has already been sent to my bank. I'm not sure what to do, do I send the item or wait for eBay to cancel the order.

Mentor2 years ago@boodyj I would cancel as problem with buyers address. The refund will go back to the payment method used to purchase the item so even if it was a stolen card this is the best option.
Cancel is in the drop down menu next to the sold item.
A buyer can't delete their account that soon after a purchase. eBay removed the buyer from the site.
Refunds, even for order cancellations, come out of your available funds not pending or held. If you do not have available funds then eBay charges your back up payment method for selling costs.
Have you entered your backup payment method for selling costs here: https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list Select Manage under the method you want to use then select Preferred for selling costs. I use a credit card.
