Order cancelled, but already in the USPS office
What should I do when a customer cancels an order that I've already dropped off at the USPS office? I actually canceled it on the platform without thinking—was that the right thing to do? Is there any way to stop it from leaving my local USPS office? Has anyone had this experience before?

Mentor7 months agoBuyers can only REQUEST to cancel. It is up to the seller to file the cancellation, and sellers are not obligated to do so. If you were to return to the post office tomorrow morning, I doubt the package would still be there. You can file a package intercept, which I believe costs around $18 with no guarantees. You can also use the CONTACT BUYER link and let the buyer know that you already sent the package, and would appreciate them marking "Refused. Return to Sender" when the package arrives.
If you are using the new messaging system, start typing where it says SEND MESSAGE. The area will enlarge as you type. When done typing, click on that "paper airplane" looking arrow on the right side to send the message.
