Order Cancellation
I was sold an item and after a few days of not receiving shipping information I messaged the seller. I was told he was out of town and would ship when he returned. I had no problem w. this. Over a week after I had purchased the item the seller canceled the order. Again not a huge problem. What I find annoying if not shady; is that he has reposted the item.
Is there a way I can post this information or feedback about the seller?
I’m not looking to smear the guy but if this is a theme w. him potential buyers should know.

·2 years agoWhen the seller gave reasons for delayed shipping, did you respond that it was okay? If not, the seller may have been unsure of whether you were still interested in the item and was erring on the conservative side to avoid a return.
You should have received an email with the reason why the seller canceled. Sometimes sellers will say "at buyer request" in order to avoid repercussions. If that was the reason given, and you did not request cancellation and, instead, messaged your acceptance of a late delivery, then you can report the seller.

If the seller used any other reason, the seller was probably already penalized with a defect on his account, as eBay uses penalties to discourage sellers from cancelling.
