Order Cancellation
Purchased 2 fairly expensive items with the wrong payment method and immediately cancelled the order. The next morning I received one cancellation and money returned and rebought with other payment method. 3 days goes by I contact the seller to let them know because I haven't heard anything. 6 days after purchase I received notice that this item was already processed and my cancellation was denied. I want the item just on a different payment method, neither ebay or the seller will respond

·3 years agoA buyer cannot unilaterally cancel a transaction. It is always up to the seller. There is a special rule for cancellation requests in the first hour where shipping process has not commenced that the seller has 3 days to respond, and if s/he doesn't the cancellation goes through ONLY IF no payment has been made (if payment has been made nothing happens unless the seller accepts the request).
The time to select your option for payment method, shipping address and the like is before you confirm those things at checkout, not an hour or a minute or a second later.
