Mentor1 year agoBuyers can only REQUEST to cancel a transaction. It is up to the seller to file the cancellation, and the seller is not obligated to do so. Go to your Purchase history, locate the transaction, and click on CONTACT SELLER and ask nicely.
If you are using the new messaging system, start typing where it says SEND MESSAGE. The area will enlarge as you type. When done typing, click on that "paper airplane" looking arrow on the right side to send the message.

-This is not eBay, it is eBay's Community forum supported by volunteer Buyers and sellers. We have no account access.
-Only the Seller can cancel the transaction for you and it is always good to review a Seller's Feedback before making a purchase.
-You can ask the Seller to cancel because you are no longer interested int eh time but they do not have to comply.
-You will have to wait to see what happens next on the transaction. Just keep in mind that your are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee: eBay Money Back Guarantee policy
