order
When I place an order is there any way to attach a message to that order? For over A year Fedex has lost every package intended for me. I would to tell the seller to don't ship Fedex when I the order. Is this possible?

It would be better to message Sellers who offer FedEx BEFORE you purchase and ask if they will add UPS and or USPS to their listing you are interested in. Adding a note AFTER you purchase is no guarantee the Seller will comply.
For example, I ship exclusively with USPS and any potential customer asking if I will ship FedEx or UPS before or after I explain no because:
-Neither FedEx or UPS offer free pick up in my rural area
-The closest FedEx, UPS or ship all type store is a one hour round trip or longer depending on traffic ... the Post Office is 5 to 7 minutes away, depending on which way I drive there.
But it never hurts to ask. You should also ask FedEx why they can't find your address on a consistent basis.

OP8 months agoThank you for the reply. Henceforth, I will be talking to the sellers before I place the order. I have countless hours communicating with Fedex. All I can get out of them is a "proof of delivery" lie. On one series of deliveries their proof was a picture of a bench in front of a house with a box on it. The problem is the bench and the house are not mine. They are completely inept and they don't care.

Well, the other thing that we see some Seller uses is the False tracking number scam. Below is what we share with Buyers when that happens ... this is when eBay tracking shows they received something but the item was actually shipped to a different address. All eBay sees is a delivered package based on tracking.
Unfortunately, you have fallen prey to the False tracking number scam. You filed a claim through eBay that you did not receive the item but since tracking showed it was delivered, they ruled against you.
You need to get a document from the Post Office stating that the package was not delivered to your address and then contact eBay with that information to prove delivery confirmation was to a different address than yours. Make sure you tell eBay it was a False tracking number scam.
We recently learned that many of the links we post to Request a call back are now simply forwarding members to eBay's Customer Service "How can we help you today?" page (link below). On that page members have to complete numerous choices before being given ways to be in direct contact with eBay. Depending on the subject, representative availability and other factors requesting a call back may or may not be possible. Chat or an email may be provided. If you get a Chat box Type “AGENT in the box. You can also contact eBay through Social Media if you have accounts there
-Contacting eBay via Social Media:
Contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.

If for some reason eBay does not refund you then you will have to pursue a dispute with your card company or PayPal. Just know that if you do that eBay will not support you at all if you run into issues with the dispute.
Make sure you report the Seller: Report an issue with a seller | eBay

OP8 months agoMy issue is not with eBay. It's all Fedex. I bought new phones from Verizon and they hired Fedex. The delivery was made to someone other than me. That someone a week later returned the phones to a Fedex facility. I live in a remote area of southern Colorado. USPS does not deliver to my physical address. I have to a PO box at their location. This causes problems because delivery people won't deliver to a PO box. As I said Fedex has lost every delivery to me for over a year. No matter where the package is coming from. I will message whoever I'm buying from before placing an order. This was a good suggestion from you.
